Curious:
Does anyone know if there is any practical difference between an i7-3770 and an i7-3770K on 7010 Dell Customac?(geekbench scores or otherwise, etc.) I understand that there is no option in the Dell bios to overclock, but what about an app like zdnet clock?
Also, would one need to make a different ssdt if installing an i7-3770K in place of an i7-3770?
I guess this question applies to all builds using OC, an Optiplex 7010, and Big Sur, Monterey, or Ventura…….
EDIT: 2023/5/18
With a little bit of digging online, I appear to be able to answer my own question. Unfortunately, there are no reports of an i7-3770K being able to make any sort of meaningful difference over i7-3770 in an Optiplex 7010. That‘s too bad.
That was not the conclusion that I was hoping to find, so if someone knows something I don’t, place correct me if I am wrong.
