Install fails ( abnormal code: 1 )

Hey guys,
I've triggered the installation normally from Sierra and after reboot, it always gets stuck at the attached screen. Any idea about what could I do to make it work? Thanks!View attachment 280967

I have a GA Z87MX-D3H + i7 4770S and I think had a similar problem starting my USB key. I've never reached the install screen of HS.
I had to write a good config.plist and it took me all the summer. I've read a lot on TXMacx and Insanely and finally managed to have a good config.plist.
Don't try a direct upgrade from Sierra but install HS from an USB key rather.

Had same problem as you, unchecked "Inject nvidia"/"nvidia web drivers"/"nvda_drvr" helped in this case.

My first idea was to to install EC and update to HS from there. Worked sort of, but I messed up and attempted to do what you said. Andy, it worked! Thanks so much.

Encountered a lot more problems during the way though, e.g. EFI partition not being FAT, but now everything is working. Took me ages, but that was my fault.
