Install external hard drive into internal

Hi guys,
I have successfully installed Mojave on my Hackintosh but it currently only works from USB. When I install the drive into the computer case using Sata it will not boot and just gives me a Prohibited/No Entry sign. Is there something I am supposed to do to convert the drive from usb to Sata?
