Im currently running into the No Bluetooth issue with my DW1820A. Using it in my Dell 7370. Ive got WiFi working flawlessly but for some reason i cannot get BT to show up. Tried the typical BRCM Firmware Repo and BRCMRamPatch2 in L/E with no result. Also trying BCRM Firmware Data and BCRMRAMPatch2 in Clover/Kexts Other. Still nothing. Oddly ive noticed BT device is not showing in my IO within USB devices. It does show in AppleUSBLegacy Devices. But still nothing. Any Ideas?

make sure you mapped your usb properly. check rehabman's UIA guide.

in my experiance, the bcrm patch2 and firmware work best in /L/E
Ive tried the BCRM Kexts in both L/E and Clover/Kexts. Same result.
make sure you mapped your usb properly. check rehabman's UIA guide.
Ive tried with running just USBInjectALL with 10.14.4 kexts to patch method to get all ports active for mapping and still BT doesnt show up in USB. Im using hackintool method also for SSDT-UIAC results.

it would be nice to write a step by step method of whole procedure on how to get fully working 2.4/5ghz wifi and bluetooth on DW1820A. i tried following thread but your descriptions are not clear i got my mojave fully lagging and crashing so i had to install it again.

im on hp x360 pavilion i5 - 7200u 8gb ddr4 1tb m2ssd

Hi,
I second Tousiq, I tried Ameeno's way with FixAirport and the patch with spoofing as I understand "PciRoot0x0)/Pci(0x1c,0x1)/Pci(0x0,0x0) with adding device
pci14e4,4353 which actually is a pci14e4,43a3 as ioreg shows, but I get 3 ACPI errors and no boot, removing FixAirport goes further but again is stuck at more ACPI loop errors and no boot. Note that I did not touch anything else, besides what ever is in my efi and config.plist to allow boot for my HP Spectre x360 i7 u6500.
Also with card inserted and not fixes system basically slows down and hangs after a 5 min.

So if anyone got a solution for working wifi (don't care about Bluetooth now) please help us and write a step by step guide. Not everyone is expert to understand bits and pieces what you guys talking about. Thanks.

Post your EFI partition and IOreg report
I will try to help you ;
I will not guarantee BT working

I will as soon as i reinstall (30min). It looks like system gets unresponsive with time and after 5+ restarts system is not bootable anymore. Something to do with this card cause it loops at boot on ACPI, lilu & Airport related error lines.

NVM I give up, now even in Windows this card wont work. I think its easier to by a macbook.

Thanks anyway.

Hey,

I got a WIFI working (a/c mode) with 1820a (with the usual kernel panics and so on).
On bluetooth side, it is a bit strange :
  • macos is seeing the device, bluetooth logo activated
  • there is a kind of device discovery when I try to add a device (but it does not discover all the device to pair, some are missing in the scan list)
  • when asked, it seems to try to connect to a bluetooth device, can work maybe a few moment but a short period after, I have a disconnection.
Nobody already faced this issue ?

Thanks

You need BrcmPatchRAM2, https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-BrcmPatchRAM
