hi there,
So after much problem solving I finally have my rig setup the way I want it to be, well almost The problem is: I have 4 harddrives, 2 of which have Mac HFS+ partitions. OSX has the irritating habit of putting hdd's that aren't in use into sleep mode, or at least so it seems. I already unchecked the "Try to put harddrive into sleep mode" checkbox, but this doesn't seem to make any difference Apart from the occasional unnescessary delay I get that seems to last forever because of this, it also does not seem to mix with my specific MB and/or Bios version. Basicly the 2 'inactive' drives don't get detected during bootup after an OSX session and I need to cold boot to get them recognised again
Does anybody know of a way to correct this? Or am I having other issues and should the unchecking of "Try to put harddrive into sleep mode" already have fixed my problem?
