After two gtx460's decided to try gtx470. Funny thing, 3 months ago I got 200 euros for a used gtx460. Last one went for 120 eur. One should never spend more than a hundred on a card, the prices drop very quickly above that. On the other hand, I think the street price of q9550 has been around 200 eur for the last 2 years.

Got the gtx470 and the random crashes are gone. Novabench graphics score went from 993 (gtx260) to 1151, but I think there is a bigger difference in starcraft2 @ 2560x1600. The card hogs power too much for the performance, but I guess its less than a 480.

XFX Geforce 260XXXBlack Edition, Factory Overclocked, 216sp model.
Not loud but my benchmark is performance, noise and heat dont bother me that much.

Ram is still seen as 1300 instead of 1600 and graphics should be faster.
But afraid to download the new drivers for my gpu.

Here is my hack system. I replaced my EVGA 8800 GTS 512mb with a BFG GTX 285 OC. It is fully working, no additional drivers installed.

BFG GTX 260 OC Maxcore Got it for $100 at tiger direct. seems to be beating some of the $200 Dollar video cards. I think i got a pretty Great score for only spending $400 and reusing my case, power supply, and Harddrive. G5 Case will be here soon. One weird thing though is that when nova bench's graphic test starts it stays at like 150fps for 2 seconds then takes off to between 1500 and 2200. Any one know why?
