Wow! 1002 Graphic score for 460GTX!!! Really curious about how you configure your card!

Here are my procedures

1.Got a flash installation using iBoot GE+MultiBeast 3.0 (10.6.3 upgrade to 10.6.6), install nvidia stock quadro driver & cuda driver.
2.Set Sys. identification as Mac Pro 3,1
3.Update MultiBeast to 3.1 (Only install FakeSMC, Chameleon 2.0 RC5 - ATI Experimental r700)
4. Flash my MSI 460GTX Hawk Bios

'Cause I experienced ramdon crashes for many many times, I Just got my 460 flashed yesterday. So far the ramdon crashes never occured since my 460 flashed. I also tested two 720p movies played (Using MPlayerX+VLC) and wallsaver-flurry activated all at the same time, everything was smooth.

looks about right I think

Thanks for the instructions. Could you clarify about step 3 and step 4?

I am really curious about the need of ATI Exp r700 in step 3. And about Step 4, did you mod your bios for the purpose of preventing kp?

here is the step 3 & 4 configuration

3.I check only items below
%E8%9E%A2%E5%B9%95%E5%BF%AB%E7%85%A7%202011-01-23%20%E4%B8%8A%E5%8D%882.55.36.png

4. Please google "n460gtx hawk bios" which discussed in guru3d forum, download, unzip and you'll get a bios named "N460GTX_Hawk_LN2.rom". Use nvflash to flash new bios. (Please notice, flash bios would be risky, be sure to backup stock bios before flashing, use it on ur own risk :D )

**latest update: I STILL have the damned ramdon KP issue, my build just crashed again, WTF.

And i just logon Win7, run the NovaBench, here is the result

My score is worse than osx, this is very odd.

Gotta love that Superclocked 260 GTX. ;)

Here are my results:

The only thing is, that Novabench did not correctly identify my i5 core speed of 2,6Ghz.

The good thing is. User with the same graphics card (HD5870) have more less the same graphic score. It's not satisfying but it seems, that I'm not alone with that fact. :( ;)

5850 goes in tomorrow, I'll post that up if I can get it working

Edit: just added g31m-es2l/e5200/4850_512mb bench, better score for gfx with 512mb

2nd Edit: 5850 piece of pies with Kabyl boot, added that for comparison
