Holy ****, hotplug is fully working! Thank you so much!

I used method 1 ssdt on my z170-ud5-th iMac14,2 High Sierra, Apollo twin hotplug works like a champ!

I have a weird issue with the system since high sierra, thunderbolt 3 Apollo twin shows not detected when I boot up the system after a complete shutdown. I’ll have to reboot it (or I reboot it when it’s in bios), then Apollo is detected. I wasn’t experiencing this issue in Sierra. It’s a little bit annoying. Anyone can relate?

Any progress solving the issue with the need for reboot in High Sierra?

With the latest BIOS version 3801, I am able to hot plug my UAD Apollo Twin after it's been powered on at boot without a SSDT or Clover patch. It doesn't show up in Thunderbolt or PCI devices but does show up in System Preferences/Sound.

Would need a specific edited SSDT for ASUS z170 to be more accurate.

I added some Arbitrary attributes and removed the DSDT.

Many many thanks to LeleTuratti !

Var. B) of METHOD 1 worked for me in the most awesome way.
I can turn on and off my Apollo Twin (silverface) multiple times even if I boot with my interface disconnected.

Enquiring if anyone knows about the compatibility of the ASRock Fatal1ty Z370 Gaming-ITX/ac motherboard, which is a mITX board (the only one possibly) that has integrated Thunderbolt 3.
Thanks a lot.

Out of curiosity, has anyone with a non-X299 system with an AIC tried using it in x16 slot 2 (dropping the graphics card to x8) but putting the TB Card on the cpu lanes to see if that enables hot swap?

Thinking of trying it with an x370 build (if I win an 8086K that is ;) )
