In clover on hdd, no hard drives are shown, they appear only with usb clover

Hi there,

I spent hours trying to find an answer. The issue I am facing appeared with my old gigabyte h67 2nd generation and also with a new asus 9th generation.

My EFI is perfect on my hdd and my usb installer. But when i boot with the hdd, there are NO hard drives at all showing up. When I boot on usb, everything appears..

I've tried many things but I run out of options.

Did anyone face the same issue?

Check your config.plist on you your hard drive. Use Clover Configurator and on the GUI page, look at the SCAN items. Check them all and see what you get on next boot.

I've checked them all, including "kernel" and chose "all" (marked as recommanded).
Doesn't help.

But I noticed something more now. The mouse doesn't work, the cursor doesn't move. But the usb keyboard is working..
Also the resolution is bad. When I boot from usb I get a nice clean high res..

Again : the clover folder is exactly the same as the usb installer one.

It feels like I get a SATA issue or something..

just copy the efi folder from usb to your drive
