Impact of New Apple CPUs

I know the new M1 chips or SoCs as they are called, look very impressive for the 3 entry level Macs just released. There will still be many benefits to owning an Intel or AMD based hack. It's easy to dual boot. Super easy to upgrade your hardware. With these and future M1, M2 M3... Macs you really have to do all the upgrades you'll ever need at the time of purchase (and pay the high Apple markups). Still much more expensive than building your own hack. When you buy a Mac you lose the satisfaction of building and configuring your machine yourself. Not everyone will give that up and buy all their hardware from Apple. Finally why would anyone not want to be a part of this community and work with others that have similar interests ?

What impact should it have ? It has the same as when you would buy an Appel Intel Mac today, so at least 7 years support according to history no ?

corrected.

What will the impact be [on building a Hackintosh] now that Apple is no longer using Intel for their PCs?
Impact on what ?

Developers ?
They gave to recompile anything and maybe even rewrite code

Users ?
They have to wait until the software they want need has been recompiled or use it with Rosetta2

Apple ?
More freedom, less dependencies, cheaper building

The rest ?
well, If ARM gestes faster as any other CPU, Intel and AMD might be challenged to to so better.

Somethinh else...
Are there meanwhile any expereicnes of Rosetta2 vs Native ARM? I wonder how big is the difference perfromance wise
