This is not a post requesting for help.

I updated from 10.14.0 to the latest (10.14.3) update. After doing so I was logged out of iMessage and got an authentication error.

After checking my network connections I thought all to be fine. My ethernet was listed under BSD devices en0 and wifi as en1. I use only wifi with the build (minipc from Hystou). So after debugging and trial and error, including several new smbios configurations nothing seemed to work. I then, on a whim, decided to:

Open Terminal
Paste sudo rm -rf /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist
Paste sudo rm -rf /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist

and on reboot I was automatically logged into iMessage.

This was after multiple attempts at deleting the proper iMessage, ichat, etc files that the guide calls for.

Now for the strange part: My wifi is now listed as en0, and ethernet as en1...

From what I thought I knew in the past, without ethernet listed as en0 the Appstore will not work. Is this correct? Still? I am able to use iCloud services and the store as of today with multiple reboots.

I hope this information can help people.
