iMessage registration error

Whenever I try to sign in to iMessage I get a registration error. On the forums it says to update chimera, but I installed ML and chimera just today so I am up to date. How can I fix this?

I'm getting the same error... tried the suggested options on the article and still getting the same error.

I ended up using an aim account instead.... So iMessage works with my aim account, but no dice with my iCloud account.

that being said.... the AIM account did not work for me in regards to audio and video chat... just text. I'm using skype for video chats until i can get the iCloud account activated in iMessage.
