I confirm weird issues including not working system sleep when using FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_GbX.kext on my new Sage 10G system.

Now, after performing the Ubuntu EEPROM Modding outlined in Section 8.8.2 and after the removal of FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_GbX.kext, the two onboard 10GB NICs and system sleep/wake work flawless. BTW.. I am also using my Sage-ETH-SSDT of course.

Following the guidelines in Section 8.8.2, I used the following terminal commands for the X550-AT2 Ubuntu EEPROM Modding:

sudo ethtool -E enp179s0f0 magic 0x15638086 offset 0x242 value 0x0a
sudo ethtool -E enp179s0f0 magic 0x15638086 offset 0x243 value 0x00
sudo ethtool -E enp179s0f1 magic 0x15638086 offset 0x242 value 0x0a
sudo ethtool -E enp179s0f1 magic 0x15638086 offset 0x243 value 0x00

Note that the enp address can vary with the Ubuntu version.

Next step: Testing TTR functionality

Interesting looks like I’ll be flashing mine this weekend. Do you know if flashing requires different drivers for windows and there’s a way to reflash in case of warranty? Or does that not matter.

Windows driver continues working without modifications.

I did the exact same thing, note for others that the argument after -E changes from installation to installation.

There will not be any complete EFI-Folder fully compatible with your particular system configuration.

Follow the guidelines in the originating post of this thread, they are fully compatible with the Deluxe II.

Could anybody send me the complete EFI folder for X299-Deluxe II?

I have several X299 systems now, and 2 of them are near identical and I can confidently say that the small differences even between those two systems require unique EFI folders. Whats more is the whole teach a man to fish parable. By creating your own folder you will (hopefully) actually understand how it works and therefor be able to address issues as they come up.

The guide already give you everything you need, you'll just need a little reading from this forum in addition. Good luck!
 
Windows driver continues working without modifications.

Welp took the plunge and it was easier than I thought. Removed the fakepciid kexts and small tree kext and just used the installer from the small tree site. Updated my SSDT too. Thanks @kgp!
