Hello everyone,
I am trying to convert a 15" iMac Globe to something more useful, while keeping the original LCD panel.
I have seen many projects here do this, at least the bigger models.
I have followed the pinout for the 15" TMDS cable from this site: http://hidekyan.cocolog-nifty.com/blog/2009/07/imac-g4-dvi-2-1.html
But when hooking this up I do not get any video, I can see some errors in the Console however that a display was trying to be connected.
Not seen in the picture is that I have a 1K Ohm resistor between DVI 14 and 16 while testing.
Can anyone see any wrongdoings, instantly?
The cables are re-crimped because they had some scratches from the tear-down, most colors should be what original color is.
