Hello everyone!!!

I started this project trying to convert the lvds to dvi following some guides, but i made a mistake when i try to test the inverter i mixed the 12v line with the 5v line, when i figured out, i correctly put the 12 and 5v in the correct pins, but now when i turn on the power supply i only get the screen turn on for a second an then turn off, my question, it's possible that i fried the inverter board???

I had this same problem. I tried all kinds of solutions such as grounding etc. What worked for me was using real wires as opposed to alligator jumper wires. Red to 5v. Blue to 12v, black to ground, and green to 1K to 3.3v. I connected my green wire to a variable resistor so I could adjust the voltage between 0.6 and ~3v to change the screen brightness. a 1k resistor will work in the mean time for normal brightness. You can also try grounding your DC power supply negative line to the ground of the case.
