This was a great learning experience for me, burning my motherboard in the process of taking the native intel card, and I'm happy I did.
What end up happening is a simple little Quirks setting property "DisableIoMapper
" to switch from false->true
I came across this as an option when I encountered issues running VMware Fusion with Vt-d enabled from the Bios. What I tried was to have VMWare running a light version of linux, have that guest use my network card, and share internet with the host
As soon as I switched mapper to True, my Internet came to life
