Hi,

I am about to order the componentes, but maybe I should ask you guys for comments before pull the trigger. Do you think this configuration will be ok for a good 4-5 years? My main use is 75% office (under MacOS), 20% games (under Windows) and 5% photo/video editing (under MacOS).

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock 3 67.8 CFM Fluid Dynamic Bearing CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Asus Z170 PRO GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Elite 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory
Storage (MacOS): Intel 600p Series 256GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive
Storage (Windows): Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Storage (HFS+ for iPhoto&iMovie Libraries): Seagate BarraCuda 1TB 2.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 1060 3GB 3GB Dual Video Card
Power Supply: Corsair CXM 500W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

Thanks!

As long as you are aware of the extra steps required, the rest of your components seem fine.

I used a M.2 ACHI without any extra steps.

for ACHI, you don't have to anything and the computer can "see" the drive. for NVMe, you will have to do something before the computer can "see" it. I do not want the trouble of NVMe drive, so I go with ACHI.

But, in terms of speed, NVMe is faster, right?
