HI!

I am fairly new to the world of HACKINTOSH!

MY SPECS:
GIGABYTE B75M-D3H
INTEL i5-3330 3GHZ
1TB WD CAVIAR BLUE
ASUS OPTICAL DRIVE

NOTE: I ALSO WANTED TO ASK WHAT GRAPHICS CARD WOULD BE GOOD TO RUN LIKE THE NEWEST MAC OS ON THIS BUILD... (PRICE RANGE $100-$150)

I HAVE A LEGIT COPY OF SNOW LEOPARD AND I READ ON THIS SITE THAT YOU CAN INSTALL THAT ON ANY PC, UPDATE TO LION AND BUY MOUNTAIN LION OFF THE APP STORE (WHICH I WILL) AND USE IT ON YOUR PC... THAT IS MY PLAN!

SO IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS I AM OPEN TO THAT AND THANKS ONCE AGAIN!

Welcome New! In that price range see if you can still get a 650 ti Boost. Good card for the
money. If you get Snow Leopard installed you can just go directly to Mtn. Lion and skip Lion
altogether. If you've got a real Mac or access to a friends you don't have to install Snow Leo.

Here's a nice and affordable GTX 650 you can definitely find still.

Also I found this Graphics Card on this site GeForce GT 640

2048MB GDDR5 128-Bit
Core Clock: 901 MHz
CUDA Cores: 384

its 2gb is this better?

I wouldn't pay extra for the 2 GB version. Won't likely use more than one GB.
If it's about the same price though go for it.

Thanks for the response!

Is my build good though can it run mountain lion perfectly?

It will run ML, depends on how you define perfectly.
If you'll be booting from the 1 TB WD drive read up on the Boot0 error
before you try to accomplish that. Should be fixable. SSDs are best
for a boot drive.

I have decided to go with the [h=1]EVGA GeForce GT 640 2048MB GDDR3[/h]
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0086UXQES/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller=

as suggested by a fellow member!

So all together with my specs and this GPU... would it make a successful Hackintosh that can run Mavericks flawlessly (dont worry about boot0 errors) and if so should i make the purchase.

Thanks for all the help and support, I am hoping on building a successful Hackintosh with your help!

Thanks :) !
