Recommend headless PlatfromID for UHD 630 IGPU is 0x3E980003

Thank you for suggestion.

These are Coffe Lake desktop PlatfromID's.
0x3E9B0007 (desktop, 3 connectors, no fbmem)
0x3E920003 (desktop, 0 connectors, no fbmem)
0x3E910003 (desktop, 0 connectors, no fbmem)
0x3E980003 (desktop, 0 connectors, no fbmem)

0x3E9B0007 is the only one that shows IGPU usage on Activity monitor. PlatformID 0x3E980003 does not affect memory size shown on HWMonitorSMC2. Also 0x3E9B0007 enables to test IGPU on Intel Power Gadget.

Please check screenshots below:

But otherwise usage of 0x3E9B0007 or 0x3E920003 depends at these scenarios:
The two ig-platform-id's we use are as follows:
  • 0x3E9B0007 - this is used when the iGPU is used to drive a display
    • 07009B3E when hex-swapped
    • BwCbPg== when the hex-swapped version is converted to base64
  • 0x3E920003 - this is used when the iGPU is only used for compute tasks, and doesn't drive a display
    • 0300923E when hex-swapped
    • AwCSPg== when the hex-swapped version is converted to base64

Try not entering anything and leaving config.plist > Devices > Properties blank.

This doesn't affect memory size, it remains ~7GB

PlatformID on this case is: 0x3E910003

3E910003 is correct.

What do you have set in BIOS? 64MB?

Please note that the 0x3E9B0007 is the only one that shows IGPU usage on Activity monitor and enables to test IGPU on Intel Power Gadget.

Will check, #515 Left it as this:
  • DVMT Pre-Allocated: 512M
  • DVMT Total Gfx Mem: MAX
  • Aperture Size: 102488M

Do you see the IGPU in System Information?
