If I download OS X on my usb for a Hackintosh, can I still get the update on the iMac?

I would just like to know. So if i buy the update on the iMac go through the uni beast installation thing install it on my PC, will i be able to update the iMac after with mountain lion?

Yes you can, download the installer on your real Mac and create the bootable USB stick for the PC. You can then re down load Mountain Lion from the App Store and apply it to your real Mac.
