I´v updated my MacBook Pro to 10.7.2 & signed in to iCloud there,
now it works on my Hackintosh too ...

I got this error when I try to create a new Apple ID.

*Serial is OK. Custom.
*No App Store Login errors.
*Using Chameleon v2.1svn r1573 (from the beginning) works ok, chimera gives boot issues with my configuration, drivers, fixes etc.

*Installed the latest Chameleon from Awesome-Studio: VS Chameleon server via Champlist.app.
-Version: Chameleon v2.1svn r1627VS (iCloud and FaceTime fix)
WARNING! Problem with RAID Systems. Don't install this version.

I have read through all the topics and I am still clueless on how people got around that:

I am getting the error: Account Limit Reached: this device is no longer eligible for creating an apple ID.

I keep reading people changing serial for it to work, but I dunno where to get serial nor how to edit and apply it..

a little help please.

OK, was able to do it, I created a .me email account, but I cannot seem to be able to tick it in the iCloud system preferences, it always gets unticked after closing the window.
also it does not load .me mail account on mail app :/

I like it so far. Photo stream solved my iPhoto problem I was having with sharing a photo library between two macs. I keep my photos on my hackintosh and everytime we take new photos I have to manually send them to my wifes MacBook so she can email and post them. With photo stream the last 30 days of photos are automatically sent to iCloud and she just needs to hit photo stream on her iPhoto 11 on the MacBook and they are there!

This works perfect, I tried other solutions and they didn't work, ,my photo library is reaching 50 gbs so putting the library on the MacBook is out of the question. Also adding a drive to my airport extreme and placing my library there didn't work for me either cause the usb interface was too slow. So happy this update came and it didn't cost anything which is a huge plus.

The calendar sync is nice too, which I'll use a lot.

I use Chimera 1.5.4 and change serial, but not working iCloud.
We need Chimera for iCloud fix.

"Find My Mac" now enabled thanks to the creation of a Recovery Partition.

The Apple Recovery Disk Assistant also works after carrying that out too (I don't know if I can test it with Chameleon though )

iCloud Issues and Solutions

Issue: Can't log into iCloud.
Solution: Update to latest Chimera 1.5.4

Issue: Still can't log into iCloud- first time setting it up on any device.
Solution: Change /Extra/smbios.plist serial number- for example:

	<key>SMserial</key>
	<string>G88451235J4</string>

change 845123 to something between 750xxx to 905xxx

	<key>SMserial</key>
	<string>G88451005J4</string>

then reboot. After setting it up for the first time- you will be able to return your serial number to the previous MultiBeast default.

"Your device or computer could not be verified. Contact support for assistance."

First downloaded last chameleon r1627. - no sucsess
Then edited smcbios.plist - no sucsess (no one serial worked for me)
Then take a look on Mak 1 way to fix AppStore (i found appstore not worked too),
And that finally helped me.

Can't say which step exactly helped or just sequence,
May be somebody can just insert that string in boot.plist to check?

Later will try to revert to Chameleon 1598

Yes- this is default in any Boot.plist installed by MultiBeast.
