EDIT: I needed to use iBoot-Haswell instead of iBoot.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I only have a 32 bit Macbook1,1 so I can't make a bootable USB with Mavericks App on it. So I have to use the iBoot method I think.

I bought a CustoMac Mini 2014 (GA-H87N-WIFI i3 4330) with a LiteOn IHAS124-04 drive (which some have said is compatible with OS X) and with the Wifi Card installed in the PCIe slot, a Samsung SSD, and I can't get to the Snow Leopard installation screen (Step 8):

No matter what I write: -x OR PCIRootUID=1 OR PCIRootUID=1 GraphicsEnabler=No OR -x GraphicsEnabler=No In all cases it's the same: I get that white screen with the grey mac apple symbol for a split second and then my system reboots. If I use the -x command before I hit enter (with the Installation DVD highlighted) then it takes much longer to get to the apple symbol, before immediately rebooting.

Any suggestions? Does iBoot not work for the MacMini 2014?

I suggest searching for 'GA-H87N-WIFI' and check out other people's install/builds to get a better idea. That guide you linked is legacy so you're better off using more recent guides/info.

freddie...

As Pointed out that link is the past...

And as hardware has been updated in your case to haswell we have other methods to get this job done.

Suggest following the post by beelzebozo and see what others have done w this hardware.

Also suggest you read some of these posts as they should help you with the understanding of Haswell Hardware and OSX Snow Leo installs.

Since you have the Haswell we do not use the MultiBeast for Snow Leopard any more due to issues.
Its rather straight and hopefully simple, install the base OSX - update to OSX Combo Update 10.6.8 and then go to the Apple App Store and download Mavericks.

You may need to update JAVA and Safari components via that Apple Software Update Service - nothing else !!!!!! In order to download OSX Mavericks.

ALso you may want to install this
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1512
in order to make the UniBeast drive once you have Mavericks downloaded.
Also we do not use a video card as we use the HD4600 video of the CPU. Remove any video cards from the system.

You will need to make and use the iBOOT Haswell CD for this process - we do not use the older versions as this version of iBOOT is made for Haswell hardware.
