iBook G4 with macbook air mobo

Like on title, is it possible to put Air's mobo to and old school iBook G4 case ? I saw something like that with iBook g3

Im thinking about cheap laptop with mac os x, Air's mobos are cheap, iBook is cheap too.

whoa, that'd be pretty crazy! You'd have to change out the screen assembly completely though, since the macbook air used an LED screen and all the iBooks are CCFL.

I'm sure there's a way to do it, but it's probably not a good first mod if you don't have too much experience. But, if you have the cash and time, go for it- I'd love to see it when it's done! I do love those old iBooks.

Hi, I am having the same idea and come across this thread. Any progress man? I personally like the 12" iBook G3. But I am looking for guidance. Good day!
