I have a successful build using my High Sierra (10.13.6 - because of my nVidia card). It's a triple boot with Windows and Linux. All works as expected, however in System Information, it only shows 8 cores. Given it's an i9 9900k with 8 cores and 16 threads, I am expecting 16 cores to display. HW Monitor also only shows 8. In both Linux and Windows, each shows 16.

On post install with Multibeast, my selection was iMac18,2 (I think 18,3 was highest). I checked VoodooTSCSync.kext, and in the Info.plist, under IOCPUNumber it does have 15 (16-1).

What am I missing. Can you help?

You can try to set iMac19,1 instead and see what happens.

I changed to 18,3 from 18,2 and everything seems to work well, including my apple ID with the app store. It may not be labeled other than iMac, but all cores and threads work, even with over clocking. Seems quite stable. I will try iMac19,1 at some point, just to see what it does.

Thank You!
