Greetings everyone. Hope all are doing well amid this health crisis. I had an inquiry of those who purchased the ASUS ProArt Z490-Creator 10G motherboard, specifically in regards to the qualified vendor list of approved memory. One of the heading options listed is socket support. I tried to search what that means in terms of pairing the board to the i9-10900K but I am not finding the answer. Would any one be able to shed some light on this? Pardon my ignorance on the matter. Much Thanks!!!

Hey @hkuser, you can use i9-0900K in ASUS ProArt Z490-Creator 10G motherboard; couple of people even from this thread are already using i9-10900K on this motherboard. And I have talked with ASUS support about the support of RAM; they told me that even though you can't find lots of RAM brands on the vendor list of approved memory; you can use them without any issue as long as they are optimized for Intel XMP profile.

Thanks anannyo for the reply. I am in the process of gathering the components for what is to be sadly my final hackintosh (probably) due to Apple incorporating its own chips.

Let's compare it. Apple i7 10700K 3.8GHz, and my i7 10700 2.9GHz:

LOL, compare the score with iMac 2019; the jump is huge. Plus 10 gen chips are the most hottest and we have better thermals than iMac; the most important factor for which I am not buying iMac and building hackintosh.
