[SOLVED] i7 temps, voltages and fan speeds normal?
Hi all,
while transcoding media with FCPX I noticed temps up to 76ºC, cpu core voltage up to 1,380V (i7 4790K). I didn't do any overlocking, I just use the default auto boost setting (Z97X-UD3H). CPU cooler is the NH-D14, the two fans are doing over 1.000 rpm@full load, but the third one (i guess it's the exhaust fan) does max. around 650 rpm. The fans are connected as follows (that was Noctua's recommendation): NF-P12 pwm to the CPU_FAN header, NF-P14 to the CPU_OPT header, NF-P12 to SYS_FAN header.
So my question is, are the temps, voltages and fan behaviour normal? This is my first computer build and I have almost no experience. Your help is greatly appreciated. HW monitor screenshot attached.
EDIT: Upgrading bios version to F7 did the job. Now I get [email protected] and temperatures around 60ºC.
