Hey Folks,
Since my old Hackintosh video editing rig finally became unsupported by adobe (i7-3770K unsupported by h.264 encoder), i finally decided to build a new editing rig.
I chose the Asus z370-a prime, the i7-8700K and a gtx1060 as a nice balance between performance and budget.
Installation seemed to go super smooth, Nvidia web driver installation was a bit of a hassle but i got it up and running.
CPU also seems to be working nice, but is not being recognised as what it is. This does seem to be a bit of a cosmetic problem, but adobe premiere/media encoder can't use hardware acceleration without a supported CPU.
So i NEED to have the CPU model be recognised correctly, or this new build is useless for me!
pls help <3
