My last build works great but it had Mavericks OS (and it works great with PROTOOLS10) but since im using more PT12 not and I am using more Virtual Instruments and Kontakt instances and bigger movie files, I needed to built a new system.

Everything works great, the PT sessions run super smooth. The UAD works great BUT the ASUS thunderbolt EX sometimes (it happened just a few times) boot without thunderbolt support. For what i researched is a known bug. In a few reboots it comes back (or changing the security from NO SECURITY to USER AUTHORIZATION) does the trick.

The Z370 Bluetooth works great but you need the antenna connected.
The WIFI does not work at all.
Motherboard audio work. (I use the UAD anyway)
It´s super silent. (great for a recording studio)
(EFI FOLDER ATTACHED)
My 3 monitors (one via DVI, one via Displayport to DVI cable, one via HDMI) work great. None of the other display output works. (there are 2 more HDMI in the nvidia 1050ti)

IMPORTANT!!!!
I'm using a ASUS THUNDERBOLT EX card in a GIGABYTE Mobo. !! The connectors are NOT THE SAME. So i had to cut a little bit of the connector (on the motherboard). Then hook the ASUS plug a GLUE !!!
It was risky....
Now it works like a charm (I made already 2 of this same builds)

Based on the GPU you’re using change the following settings:

Intel iGPU:
  • Peripherals → Initial Display Output : IGFX
  • Chipset → Integrated Graphics : Enabled
  • Chipset → DVMT Pre-Allocated :128M (if this setting isn’t showing then: 1. Set Integrated Graphics: Enabled. 2. Save and Exit BIOS by pressing F10. 3. Reenter BIOS upon computer restart and it should be there.

Its not available in amazon.... I bought one on ebay, from a seller in Israel. It will get to my place in a month... It was too much...
And also I didnt know about the different connectors... I thought that all the Thunderbolt connectors in the motherboard were 5 pines and same form .... Its not.

yep. sleep and power down works perfect.
initially after sleep the HDMI TV wasnt turning on again (no signal), but now it works. probably some nvidia drivers update.

I have most things going, couldn't get audio to work without it crashing every time, running an Apogee Duet which i eventually got working so I flagged the audio as I really only use the duet. Don't have power management sorted yet - it restarts 2 seconds after I shut down. Any suggestions on fixing this? Thanks for your help
