I think you mean MultiBeast v6.3.1, not 3.01. Version 6 is for Mavericks. Version 3 is for Snow Leopard.

I believe this is thread by toleda, not the one you posted: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/112...hda-guide.html?highlight=Realtek+ALC+AppleHDA

HD4600 patch (not necessary for me)

Do you want your HD4600 FrameBuffer link to be http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/125239-hd4600-hd4000-hd3000-framebuffer-edits.html Your link goes to page 7 in the thread while the "meat" of the information is in the original post.

killall Finder (enter)
Hide: defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -bool false (enter)

To change the file permissions from the terminal: chmod 777 (the path of your file)

Do we do these the first time we boot with unibeast? and then restart the computer, boot again from unibeast and do the actual installation?

So do we just open a terminal, type in the lines and press enter at the end of each? Would this be a line: "defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -bool true"?

Which file's permission are we changing here with chmod?

Boot sequence:

Bios Asus Z97 deluxe:
Deactivate Ethernet card 1 and 2, Wifi and Bluetooth

Did you later deactivate the onboard ethernets? If so, did you activate both of them after Multibeast installation?

Asus pb287q its correctly working at 3840x2160 at 60Hz

Did you disable the onboard video card in the bios prior to running the web driver?

Thank you.

My new build is:

i7-4970k + Asus Z97 Gryphon + GTX680

My motherboard has ALC892 audio and I used Multibeast 6.3.1 and installed the ALC892 drivers and 9 Series chipset audio patch. I still do not have audio out.

Just wanted to say thanks to OP that this thread helped me get my rig up and running. Thanks for the information and Success story... YOU ROCK!!!

/QUOTE]

Hi!
the Show hidden and hide files in OSX, usually necessary to edit certain files, I will recommend at first time, and when finished, then toggle to hide them.

The chmod 777 it's necessary to change the permission for example of wificard, otherwise you would leave not save the file. we change the permissions for Read (r) Script (w) and Implementation (x).

About Ethernet, once installed Multibeast driver Multibeast Drivers > Network > Intel > AppleIntelE1000e v3.0.4.1a Drivers > System > AppleRTC Patch for CMOS. Yo can active from Bios, and then be recognized.

About onboard video card, you can run the web driver whether or not to activate from bios. theres is no problem.

Excuse me for my english, any doubt discussed.
a greeting

I'm working through some bugs using Clover as a bootloader.

I had bad RAM, replaced that. Now I'm getting sleep issues. When I come back to my machine it's on a boot screen. Console -> System.log shows some some sleep-related activity before I wake it up and find the bootloader screen.

Anyone use Clover and experience this?

Trying darkwake=0 now.

Darkwake=0 solves the problem.

Go here for a Vanilla Clover UEFI build description: http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-buil...fi-bluetooth-4-0-secure-drive.html#post841933
