I'm also looking at making a 2011 build. Probably going to go with the 3930K.
What is the consensus on Motherboard right now? It seemed when I built my last machine, LGA1366 machine, Gigabyte was the best option as it had the most support.
I like the ASUS 2011 motherboards better than the Gigabyte ones though and I'd prefer to get an P9X79. Looks like a few of you have it working, but once/if the MP's get updated will there be better support for the Gigabyte boards? Or do you think I'd be fine with an ASUS board? (I have built 1 Hackintosh before, somewhat familiar with it, but not super experienced in DSDT editing)
