I suppose that the procedure for CPU upgrade is :

- run HP Probook Installer, select i5 or i7 SSDT's
- turn off
- change CPU

Am I correct ?

Impressive. Can you tell me which SSDT is used, when the test was made??

I think it was the one from Multibeast.

attached SSDT it is my actual one but not optimal. The P-states must be optimized i guess.
Just tested, see screenshot.

Ok guys I would figure out how to get 10.7.4 on my i7-272qm probook. I ha it working fine on my i5 version, but I always get the appleintelcpupowermanagement kernel panic. I tried over and over using big donkeys patched kexts and still no luck. Any trick you would recommend?

Yesterday, RevoGirl posted a script that simplifies generating SSDT''s. I made one for my CPU and works great.
Please try this one. I supplied 45W for TBD and 3300 for Maximum Frequency as script parameters.

EDIT: RevoGirl script reads some data from running computer. It needs to executed on default platform.
