Anyone done one yet?
Any interest if I do it?

Also, is there any way to get "About this Mac" to read more than 4.2GHz?

I use the one from multibeast

Im having the same issue.

My multiplier only goes from x16 to x33 despite having it set to x40 in Bios.

I used the latest multibeast 4.5.2 with SSDT for overclocked i5.

What am I doing wrong?

There is no work around the About This Mac 4.2 GHz limit.
Is it really 4.2 GHz? For me it's 4.3 GHz when running @ 4.5 GHz .

I'm currently running 4.4GHz i5-2500k, (44x multi) and the default overclock SSDT in multibeast doesn't work. however, the 4.5Ghz one in this thread does, perfectly. Is there any spesific reason that I shouldn't be using the 4.5 and that I should find a spesific 4.4 one? The temps are all fine and the system correctly reports the 44x when its under load.
