I am seriously starting to spin my wheels here and frustration is building.

I have followed along the tutorial from http://www.tonymacx86.com/golden-bu...re-i3-4340-intel-hd-4600-a-13.html#post668586

* Installed the MB config file from that post (CustoMacMini-DSDT-Free.mb)

Hi stehor.
Yeah I tried your suggestion and it made no difference. Also tried patching the kexts from this page too ( http://www.osx86.net/files/file/3568-new-109-intel-hd-3000-hd-4000-driver/ )
plist now looks like this:

Code:
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
    <string>Yes</string>
    <key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
    <string>Yes</string>
    <key>IntelAzulFB</key>
        <string>12</string> <--- tried a few variations here ( no effect 1 — 11 )
    <key>Kernel</key>
    <string>mach_kernel</string>
    <key>Kernel Flags</key>
    <string></string>
    <key>Legacy Logo</key>
    <string>Yes</string>
    <key>Timeout</key>
    <string>2</string>
        <key>GenerateCStates</key>
        <string>Yes</string>
        <key>GeneratePStates</key>
        <string>Yes</string>
        <key>UseKernelCache</key>
        <string>Yes</string>
        <key>Graphics Mode</key>
        <string>"1920x1080x32"</string>
    <key>PCIRootUID</key>
    <string>0</string>
    <key>IGPlatformID</key>
<string>0c260000</string> <--- apparently this is the default
    <key>IGPEnabler</key>
    <string>Yes</string>

Same problem here. Still don't have a solution

  • What is the motherboard revision number? Have you tried to remove the WIFI card before attempting installation
  • What have you tried, which cable are you using for graphics - is it DVI-D or HDMI. VGA does not work.
  • What is the resolution of your monitor?
  • MultiBeast settings?
  • Which i7 processor are you using? Non 'k' models require UEFI option of VT-d to be disabled.

Hi Adrian
If you are using MultiBeast and Chimera (default boot loader) then you need to use these values
http://www.tonymacx86.com/378-new-in...s-chimera.html

I have exhaustively tried the IGPlatformID= XXXXXXXX method in org.chameleon.Boot.plist. Numerous values.

It makes no difference. I make the edit. Save the file. Reboot. The hackintosh remains the same. No Quartz acceleration, and no means to increase the display resolution (1024x768). Still the "Graphics not supported" message in the System Report. I have the display linked via DVI-D. Tried the HDMI port ( that works too ) but same problem.

Do I need to do anything other than save the plist file in order for things to "stick"?
