I updated to 10.8.2 and can't boot back in

All I did was update. i forgot to install the kexts and such. when i boot into it all i get is the infinite loop. I've tried -x & -v

i had the same problem. couldn't even boot into safe mode. so, i booted into my backup hdd (glad i backed up first!), and deleted OemSmbios.kext from the system/extensions folder of my original hdd. booted back into the original hdd and voila! 10.8.2!

I'm completely new to hackintoshes, and I had no idea that the combo update would mess my computer up so badly! I am getting the same issue, and I have literally no idea how to fix the situation.

I tried to boot using unibeast to do a re-install, and there isn't even a drive showing up to install mountain lion onto!

Help! What can I do to get my computer back? I have 2 internal drives: 1 that I was using only for programs and the OS, 1 for time machine/file storage. Is there a way to roll back the OS? If so, how?
