How's it going everyone? I have a problem with High Sierra, I need to partition my HDD but i can't. It's a Hitachi HTS547575A9E384 750 GB 5400 rpm. When I use Disk Utility, I resize my boot volume and I create a new APFS volume. When I start the process everything works okay until the part that says "Copying booter". I don't know what is happening but it stuck at this part. I waited for 1 hour and but is still there again. Then I tried to make the same process but this time I formated it to HFS+. But it happens again. I can format partitions but i can't partitioning. I used the recovery but is the same. With the High Sierra Installer same too.

I use the slide=0 arg to boot, but when I don't use it i can boot but i have a lot of problems. I even can't format a drive, download a big app (like High Sierra Install.app) or everything that requires a Hard Drive activity.

My PC specs:
- Intel Core i5 2450m
- Motherboard by Samsung is a 6 series.
- Hitachi HTS547575A9E384 750 GB 5400 rpm
- 6 GB of Ram DDR3

Not a guide, moved to laptop support.

APFS on HDD is probably a bad idea (APFS is for SSD).

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html
The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"
