I can't change monitor resolution

Hi everybody,

please excuse my english, it's not my mother language.

I successfully installed mac os snow leopard on a pc with :

Motherboard: Gigabyte H55M-UD2H
Video card: Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce GTX460
CPU Core i5
2x2 Go DDR 3

2 main problems:

1°: Ethernet works until I install easybeast. After rebooting, the connexion is impossible. I use ethernet from motherboard.
2°: I don't manage to install the graphic card. I followed the instructions installing chimera from multibeast and then the nividia drivers you link. But my graphic card is still not recognized.

any idea to help? big thanks by advance

I've used same motherboard for one of my installations, being a newbie myself can't comment on what wrong are you doing, rather I'll just illustrate, what I did & things are working for me.

My Motherboard was H55M-UD2H, F11, rev 1.3.
Multibeast version 3.3, Retail DVD, Combo update 10.6.6
downloaded appropriate DSDT , renamed it to DSDT.aml & pasted on desktop.

The options I choose were

EasyBeast Install
userDSDT
System Utilities
kext & Enablers:
Audio> ALC8XX & AppleRollback
Graphic>Enabler>nvEnabler
Disk>JMicron36x eSATA
Disk>JMicron36x SATA
Network>Lnx2Mac's
Cust>32-bit Apple Boot Screen
Sys Def>Mac Pro 3,1

Thats all, working like a power horse.

easy beast install is not needed if you are using a DSDT

(1) install lnx2mac driver from multibeast for internet

(2) try downloading and running the official nvidia drivers from here

I now have Internet and my graphic card is well known as the geforce 460 in the hardware detail.

but, I still have a bad resolution (1024x768). With an "unknown" monitor.
I am installing world of warcraft and as i tried to launch it to test it, it said "couldn't find the 3D acceleration".... I guess everything is not well working...

Desperate, I am looking at a switch to PC as I don't have money enough for a new Apple. Please help
