Anyone have the steps needed to install Mavericks via uniboot to an original macbook air? I've been at it for a week and can't find a thing
 
Interesting. What is your starting point? Does the MBA boot to something? Have you downloaded Mavericks from the App Store? If yes, what system did you use?

ii can boot 10.7.5 i have retails from there to yosemite from the store. i have an iMac mid 07 the orig mba and a 2,1 pro. it installed using clover but said base system was missing and wouldn't boot even recovery
 
What are the specs on the MBA (CPU, Memory, Drive type/size)?

And why would you think that an Apple device needs a hack boot loader?

The MacBook Air tops out on OS X at 10.7.5 as does the Mac pro. The drive is 80gig sata 2gigs ram
