HWSensors and real mac

Hello

I have downloaded HWSensors xcode workspace from Github and have a question:
Does this workspace' projects build and run on real macs,without FakeSMC.kext of course.
I really need to find some universal solution for macs and hacks to read temperature from cpu.
I found reference to smc.h in code so wondering if this HWMonitor app can work without FakeSMC,
which can break macos on real mac i think.Please let me know what you think/found.

Yes I moved only the app to a MacBook Pro and it still works perfectly.
