HWmonitor keeps asking me to install new helper tool, I type in my password and it just asks me the same thing all over again as if it never installed the helper tool to begin with.

Everything in HWmonitor is working fine but whenever I try to change the fan speed its nope

Thanks, please let me know if anyone else here has encountered this issue.

I'm on 10.14.6 if it helps anyone

Ended up getting it sorted with the binary at https://github.com/kzlekk/HWSensors/releases/tag/6.26 instead of the pkg, don't know why it worked this time around but the binary did work for me.
