What does mainboard proximity? mainboard temperature?I have 4 fans, two intake and two extraction connected to power supply

My GTX 670 runs equally hot in idle too. This appears to be a known bug in the NVIDIA driver, that breaks power management on Kepler cards. After OpenCL is used once after boot, the clock speed of the cards stays maxed out, causing high temps at idle.
I haven't found a fix for this so far. It's a bit annoying, as I'd like to lower the minimum fan speed, but the temps do not allow this anymore.

if i delete this driver the temperature is expected to fall right?

ok, reading the forum I found a guide "OpenCL fix for crash with GK110B based card" on page 5 .... I found a comment from a man who has applied the fix on the gtx 670 by saying that solved the problem of HWMonitor core gpu not longer locked to 1.00Ghz.
