Hi,

I installed Patched ALC889 with my DSDT for Z68XP UD3R and the sound is working okay, but there is a huge delay about 2-3 seconds everytime I pause and resume, which is really annoying.

Is this a known issue? any fixes?

Hi,

Is there a S/L/E/HDAEnabler...?

Hi,

Exact same issue here with Z68XP-UD3 v1.0 (ALC889). Only happens with Mountain lion. Was ok with Snow Leopard and Lion.
A complete installation from scratch does not improve things.

Bios F10 or new UEFI Bios => same issue.

The problem happens both with Injector + Enabler (UEFI without DSDT), Patched AppleHDA and enabler (UEFI without DSDT) or Patched AppleHDA only (DSDT).

The issue seems to be ML related.

If anyone can help... Thanks !

quick update: I think I managed to fix the issue by ENABLING ErP in Bios.

OK, thanks for the info. I'll give it a try.

Did not help in my case. The delay is still present.

Same here - with Lion and ML. There is no HDAEnabler in S/L/E.

Workaround is to switch the audio device in VLC to integrated output and back to encoded digital output after resume.
