Hello,
I've been working with a Sierra hacked-workstation for over a year now. I'm a professional Video editor and its like my workhorse for at-home work.
I had dual boot with clover for Windows gaming capability and it worked really great so far.
Yesterday, windows had to do a big update and now my sierra install won't boot anymore, i always get this crossed circle instead of the loading screen.
So i've tried to do a clean install to high sierra now, bought a new 120gig ssd and a new usb stick.
I finally managed to get the stick booting into the install by checking the AppleIntel fix in binary patching in Clover boot options, but when i try to just start the install itself, it wants to download important content at this time which is not available and aborts. I definitely am connected to the internet (network utility) and I checked, i downloaded the complete 5.2 gig install app from the appstore via my 2015 macbook pro. (created the install usb with unibeast2).
my hardware setup is:
ASUS P8Z77-v LX Mainboard
Intel I7-3770K
NVIDIA GTX970
16GB RAM
I'd consider myself a beginner in hackintosh-ing but getting the sierra workstation to work took me quite a bit of research (Nvidia web drivers, sound stuff, usb3 stuff, etc).
Please help me, i don't want to work on windows!
