Hi there,
coming from this thread ("HP x360 14-ba145ns Catalina installation problems") and followed advice so far, but finally stuck at the boot screen.
it's my first osx86 since years and not familiar w/ clover and config.plist wizardry, so would totally welcome help.
not really sure what to do from here.
System has i5 8th gen, Intel 620 graphics and I removed intel wifi M.2 card, awaiting Broadcom. Has 2.5" SATA SSD and WD Blue M.2 SATA.

I have had a look at you CLOVER folder and made EFI with last Clover version with new OsxAptioFix.

Added SSDT-XOSI.aml and SSDT-EC.aml to /CLOVER/ACPI/patched.

Updated a few of the kexts, added a couple of other kexts.
Changed Fake ID IntelGFX=0x59168086
Added Scan Custom Tool=true
Set ig-platform-id=0x59160009 for your Intel HD 620 IGPU
Generated a new SMBIOS
Checked the new Serial number with EveryMac and Apple Support.

Good luck !

Hello Mikorist - thank you so much for your help.
Very much appreciate you lending me a hand.

I tried the new boot stick but it hangs after the voodoo driver is loaded.
Bios screenshot added to be sure I did not mess anything up there.

Just tried booting w/o the voodoops2controller.kext, but then things stop after [ PCI configuration, bridges 1, devices 19 ]

That may be an issue with the VoodooPS2Controller.kext. may need to plug in a USB mouse to get around this issue during setup/installation.
The VoodooPS2Controller.kext have three sub-kexts:
VoodooPS2Keyboard.kext, VoodooPS2Mouse.kext, VoodooPS2Trackpad.kext

I have attached two VoodooPS2Controller.kext for you to try. One has only the keyboard and mouse and the other has only the keyboard and trackpad kext. See if one works.

Many thanks - possibly not the vodoo driver, but something that happens afterwards.
Both drivers load ok but machine freezes afterwards (also freezes if I leave vodoo driver completely out.
I let it sit for a few minutes to see if something else happens after a while, but machine seems solid frozen. Is there any way fro me to get more debug info besides from the verbose console logging?
Should I try something other than Catalina (High Sierra?)?

Thx for any thoughts.

Try this variant of EFI too.

p.s.
If you fail with the post above - after all the attempts - you can install macOS Mojave

If you fail with the post above - after all the attempts - you can install macOS Mojave

- tried all that (problem following usb-power-property-injection because the tools listed require osx to boot.
- tried the patches but acpi error prevaised and system kept hanging
- tried various vodoo.kext variations, including removing the PS2-kexts taht could conflict with I2C kexts
- tried the new EFI.zip (Thanks!), but has ACPI errors and hangs after vodoo driver
- tried Mojave with same results (hangs after vodoo)

- installed ubuntu to get more details about the ACPI configration (in part also to test if laptop works fine otherwise, which it does)
"acpidgb -b methods" resulted in following output (attached - as I'm sure you can tell I know squat about this stuff).
