I removed the SSDT-DiscreteSpoof.aml and installed the CodecCommander.kext it is better now still not as in windows but its ok. Thank you for all the help. Might write a thread with everything that I did for this laptop maybe it helps. Also a question it happens sometimes to me. When .i turn on clover might not boot or the options do not appear until I restart, some times it takes a couple of restarts. Might be a bug with clover or maybe some configuration do you have any idea ?
.

What do you mean by "the options"?

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

Sorry, I meant the boot options and menus, clover screen shows completely empty. It happens always if I leave my USB keyboard connected before turning the computer on. Also, it has happened twice, that it begins booting and then the screen just turns black, then I have to start again.

Comments:
- as per guide, EmuVariableUefi-64.efi not necessary with AptioMemoryFix.efi
- your issue may have something to do with the whole loader.efi/Preloader.efi you have going...

Is there a way to fix the clover boot without the loader and Preloader ? A better solution?. I read that using a particular clover fork was also a solution.

I'm not up on the details. There is a guide for HP Spectre where the idea behind Preloader.efi originated. You might read it.

I forked your repo and added the changes I made. Very minor really, and there are still issues to be resolved. Something about the line I've commented out in screen.c causes large issues for the HP firmware.

Looks like a better solution is needed.
Some way to actually get keystrokes from the keyboard (basic requirement of Clover for the menu).

I remember why I did not go for that the for was from dedegrasse you said it was not a good solution as it prevented clover to get keystrokes I believe. But that line seemed to be the problem

Not certain, but the other option might be to use Clover legacy instead.

To anyone watching this thread, I'm setting up an x360 using @cxdtl's great guide and have been tracking my progress in the thread. I uncovered something interesting this morning for anyone doing this and wanted to draw attention to it:

I just happen to use an Wacom Intuos device on my desktop as a fancy touchpad and occasional drawing tool, and when I installed the driver for that, I found that it made the gestures on the laptop touchpad a lot smoother—something about installing the driver makes the default Mac gestures work! Seems random as the laptop doesn't use Wacom technology itself, but I bet that might come in handy for folks even without a Wacom tablet. (And yes, the gestures are still smooth without the installed tablet, so major plus.)

I have the exact same model, I managed to put high sierra but with continuous kernel panic .. would you please let me see your efi to understand where I'm wrong?

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.

The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"

I followed the guides, for what I can, and everything is installed but unstable, the PC often reboots in kernel panic or does not start because in kernel panic for nvme problems.
My spectre x360 has i7 8550u
16 gig of ram
512 gb ssd m2
I am attaching my efi / clover folder and links to two videos of my kernle panicc that does not attach me as a file here on the forum, I have come to the maximum of what I can do with my knowledge, please, if you can, can you revise and "fix" my clover folder?
