thing, your laptop has AMD graphic cards but I don't see graphics disabled in dsdt. Do you see it in System Information?

Please redownload latest PBI Clover Edition and repatch your dsdt like the guide in OP

Then post your EFI/Clover folder and /var/log/install.log

@dlabsnl: In addition to DSDT, you have to reselect Kexts and SSDT Generator/Patcher.

GREAT !!!

Does AMD still show up in System Information? I want to disable it to save battery and lower temprature.

So what is the basic difference without using the pbi clover ? I guess the pbi clover is pretty much easier to setup and all in one solution , and also the patching on the fly is already done? That is why when updating we don't have to run the support kexts again?

I was wondering how is the pbi clover with dual booting handling things? Will we have to remove some files from microsoft folder as with the original guide?

Also does the pbi automatically disabled discrete graphics card for probook 4540s?

Everything is already setup, no need to do anymore.

No files are removed, just renamed. The dual boot procedure is the same for both old and new guide.

I already implemented this, but need feedback to confirm it works (I don't have AMD laptop).

I disabled it in bios, it's no more appearing in System Information, only HD3000.

It should be disabled automatically when using mavericks . You should keep discrete card enabled in bios if you want to use it in windows and disabled in mavericks
