I have seen many people with MacOs Mojave in HD3000 ("installation successful") and CPU Sandy. I dont understand Yet how do they do to modify the SMBIOS?
(When I try install Mojave in the AppStore, show this:
This version of macOS 10.14 can not be installed on this computer.)
I have Probook with High Sierra (MacBook Pro 8,1).

(I speak spanish, sorry).

You would have to use an Ivy Bridge SMBIOS, then do some tweaking to make CPU PM work, not to mention copying the HD3000 related kexts. It is not likely to be stable.

Use '-no_compat_check' (without quotes) boot flag in clover;

OR better change SMBIOS with Clover Configurator;

You can improve graphics for QE/CI as work around explained here;

Personally, stick with High Sierra FWIW.

I tested this (my 4530s; HD3000 kexts from High Sierra). The result is no good. For example, no transparency for the dock, many animations are missing. I'm sure if you dig more, you'll find more functionality not working.

The system must use graphics driver features that don't exist or are inadequate in the old HD3000 kexts.

Stick with 10.13.x High Sierra (or earlier) if you have HD3000 or bid farewell to your HD3000 hardware.

for hp probook 4540s laptop can I use unibeast to create USB ? UEFI mode ?
your laptop has a guide:

your laptop has a guide:

Thank you sir your reply. I am confused . I was reading the guide ... preparing usb and initial installation . Then I got to this This guide for creating USB and installing using Clover UEFI works well for this laptop: http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...de-booting-os-x-installer-laptops-clover.html

Am I going the right way ? :

Clover and the OS X installer are placed on separate partitions on the USB. There are two options as is relates to USB partitioning:

  • Option 1: MBR with a FAT32 partition for Clover and a separate HFS+J partition for the OS X installer.
  • I recommend using MBR with two partitions as most computers can boot from it (even with UEFI), and it is convenient that the EFI partition will mount automatically when the USB is inserted.

yes, all good

yes, all good

ok In terminal I ran diskutil partitionDisk /dev/disk1 2 MBR FAT32 "CLOVER EFI" 200Mi HFS+J "install_osx" R
It created 2 partitions on USB CLOVER EFI / install_osx.

I downloaded Clover_v2.4k_r4701.RM-4963.ca6cca7c and chose destination CLOVER EFI / customize and options selected : clover for UEFI booting only / install clover in the ESP / UEFI drivers - default. I didn't change anything - then I click installed .

Please tell me if I am going the right way creating the USB .
What is the command in terminal to install mojave 10.14.3 to usb (install_osx)?

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Mojave.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/install_osx -- /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Mojave.app
