I've been following this guide: Guide to Installing Mavericks on HP Probook

No matter what boot flags I use, the result is the same:

The system boots but never reaches the Mac Installer. The system flashes a white/grey screen and reboots.

Tried these boot options:
-x -v PCIRootUID=0 IGPEnabler=Yes IGPlatformID=01660003
-x -v IGPEnabler=No PCIRootUID=0 GraphicsEnabler=No
-x -v IGPEnabler=Yes IGPlatformID=01660004

I have a HP ProBook 4540s with HD4000 graphics. 8GB of RAM 500GB HDD
- BIOS version F.41
- Boot Mode: UEFI Hybrid (With CSM)
- Fast Boot: OFF
- Data Execution Prevention: OFF
- SATA Device Mode: AHCI
- Wake on LAN/Wake on USB: OFF
- Virtualization: OFF

- Added new property to /Extra/org.Chameleon.plist
<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1920x1080x32@60</string>

I destroyed all partitions on the HDD.

You should be able to boot with just "IGPEnabler=No -x -v"

Set BIOS to defaults, then change only the settings as called out in the guide (I'm pretty sure DEP should be enabled, for example).

I reset to defaults, disabled WAKE ON LAN and made sure others called out in guide were set properly.

Yes, thank you kindly. I am finally in the installer and about to go!

Thanks so much for your help
