And we're off!, Newegg has officially kicked off the Black Friday Eggtravaganza!. One item that stood out for me at least, is a HPEX900 500GB NVMe for $45, originally $60!. Very tempted myself as I have been using HP EX900 250GB in my builds and haven't had any problems. The higher capacity will give an extra boost over the 1.2GBs/1.9GBs R/W speeds that the 250GB offers.

Just for comparison, a 500GB SATA drive by HP costs $50.

Here's a higher end cooling solution for the HP NVME drive. Has a fan built in the heatsink ! If serious about cooling the drive for longevity this is a good investment. This still requires a separate PCIe to NVME adapter so it does add expense.

I think the expense would be worth the peace of mind tbh!. I've not seen these before with the fan trs96, what a good idea. NVMe gets really hot and this looks like a great way to cool it down and have it last longer.
