Update 21.12.13

Os x 10.9.0 runs great on the HP (very fast and stable)
also games like Doom 3 and borderlands2 are playable
many problems have been resolved ...


I'll try the SD card reader and the brightness keys
to run.
WIFI N2230 I will replace, currently I use a stick N300/Sitecom


Then I post a Install Guide with multiboot UEFI Win8/Mavericks without Win8 DVD (with recover function)
is a bit complicated but it works.

Update 08.01.14

Card Reader still no success ... I still do not give up ;)


Audio is now working with AppleHDA.


Brightness keys without FN, probably not possible. Works With FN key
I'm still looking for a solution that the brightness is 100% at start.


SMBios and adapted DSDT fixes some things.
I would like to try the Nvidia exclude via DSDT.

All posible Kext´s update to 10.9.1


Sleep does not go right, he awakens by USB right back on, but it no longer crashes.


Touchpad works with 2 or 3 fingers, only the off function with double-tap does not work.

You have to set Profile in Voodoops2keyboard to get that effect. Look at info.plist inside the keyboard kext.

yes I initially tried, but without success.
in debug mode of Rehabman's VoodoPS2 is no key sent in the console.
I think there's no solution at the moment.

I just tested, but has no effect on the brightness after the reboot.
But adjust the brightness goes smoother with the patch.

??? hmm I have googled what you suggest me there once, do not know yet what you mean. must control which USB device to PC sleep brings out the, or whether it is general USB first. In any case, what is log of EHC1 and EHC 2 there think so USB is meant.

The only thing still missing:


Touchpad: on off button with double-tap (I tried it with voodoops2, although get in the debug strings, but it will not work.)
Card Reader: no Support vor RTS5229
Improvement of AppleHDA: To activate all 4 speakers and subwoofer


Otherwise it runs perfectly and stable (no crashes, got him not restart for 3 days and it still runs like the first day)

How Do you Made the WiFi card Wirkung i have tue 7302eg and tue atheros card tust you posted doesnt See in tue manuals of Mine and yours how Do you Made that

Post #1 says replaced WiFi with AR9285.
 
Yes but does he Made a BIOS Flash or somthing to make it work
