Attached is a DSDT for the hp/Compaq DC7800 CMT (Q35/ICH9). Should work for a DC7800 SFF as well.
Extensively tested with Mountain Lion. Should work for Lion and Snow Leopard as well.
I highly recommend updating the BIOS to the highest level. A USB thumb drive installation method may not work with lower levels.
The DC7800 series DOES NOT SUPPORT AHCI, but an updated IOATAFamily kext is available which will allow the Mountain Lion Installer and, indeed, Mountain Lion itself to "see" the IDE-attached (but really SATA as the mobo has no IDE) SATA drives. Also the DC7800 series uses an Intel gigabit LAN chip, for which a kext is available.
